So, when I ran my first ever marathon last year November, I was 98kg. Since then I have been on holiday in the USA where my wife and I find it almost impossible as tourists or dependent family members, to hold up a keto lifestyle. So the discipline slipped and we never recovered. I hovered around 101kg for about 5 months after we returned, then in one month, while we were uprooted and living out of our house due to renovations, I put on 4kg due to a total implosion of any modicum of discipline that I might have still had. This weekend I weighed in at 107kg - 13kg more than my best, three and one half years ago, and 9kg than when I ran the marathon last year. If I am honest, I am both a physical and an emotional wreck. I drink too much and eat too much. Time to stop that sh*t, deal with my life and get back to a more comfortable "me". Tomorrow I shall take my injured heel out for a run and see what happens...
