Look at my baby in that pic! what a crack up he is! He KNEW that he was supposed to be drinking from the huge bottle!! So, he went for it! LOL

I'm gonna be at work today! I know that most of you are happy as heck that I'm getting my butt out of sick-bay! I'm happy too! I'm feeling fat and sassy so most of ya better watch out! I have A LOT of catching up to do!!! :)

I was surfing the net yesterday and found this article that really affected me. Of course, it had to do with diet and all that good stuff. It went on to say that nearly a third of our children are OBESE now in the U.S., and they will probably be the first generation that WILL NOT outlive their parents! Can you imagine? Of course, the main culprit is overly processed foods that we serve/or allow them to eat! The heading of this article still remains with me, so I figured I'd pass it on. It said, "Cook Like Your Life Depends On it!". In this case, it should rephrase to say, "cook like your children's life depends on it!"

On a lighter note, my college baseball team (Fresno Bulldogs) will be playing on TV from Omaha Nebraska this evening, and I'm EXCITED!! I have front row tickets in my livingroom! They're calling us the Underdogs because almost every player right now has an injury of some kind! Welp! That's why we're BULLDOGS! WE'RE TOUGH!!

Am gonna cheer those Bulldogs on from across the lake Andee... as far as Ireland goes (with our 4 million population) they say here that type 2 diabetes is gonna rise by 37% by 2015 to 200,000 people which will make it the single biggest medical threat in the country... I think that a LOT of people will have to wake up and smell the protein soon... take it easy at work ok.. and have a brilliant weekend.

Yes, BA you are right, we have to feed ourselves and our kids, like their lives depend on it! They will do as we do, not as we say. I have to admit, as much as I am doing this "for me", I truly am doing it for my girls as much, if not more. I want them to 1. have me around to be here with them and 2. teach them not to make the mistakes that I have in the past. Have a great weekend! :)

Aw, what a cute picture! That article sounds horrifically true. When we had the education days here at the Fort (all the field trips) I really noticed how overweight and fat the kids were. I know I'm not that old, but I don't remember my friends/people I went to school with being that heavy. Yes, some were chunky or whatnot, but not like this. It starts too young, I really think something must be done. Hope your team won tonight!

Love the pic! what a cutie :)! Glad you're recovered and feeling sassy--bring it on, sista! It's been too quiet around here lately--and count on good ol' bad Andee to shake things up a little!! BTW, your bio is so impressive--you've managed to do it all! Get married early, have kids, grandkids, and be a grandma by 41(yikes!), lose all this weight and look terrific, pursue your education and get 4 degrees! and have this fast-paced job/career!! How on earth do you do all of this?!!!

LOL...08, you can do alot of schooling in 22 years since graduating H.S.! LOL I LOVE people's faces when they see my daughter out in public. Our favorite thing to do is to KISS EACH OTHER in greeting/parting, but just for the shock-factor of everyone around us! LOL They never suspect we're mother/daughter, they think we're gay!! Anybody that knows us and sees the other for the first time, can see we resemble each other, but they automatically think we're sisters because she looks older for her age, and I look younger! (hee hee!) HOWEVER! Jake (my one and only 8-month old grandson) makes people suspect my age when he's around! darn it! LOL
