Perfect info and awesome results! I see traps and a slim waistline. We are very similar besides the food allergies or what have you. I came from a clean eating background(off and on for 10 years). It's how I lost my weight. That, lifting, kickboxing/boxing, and running. I've tried many diets, at one point I was eating tuna, vegetables, and almonds for most of my meals with some chicken or top round steak instead of tuna sometimes. It sucked, and like you, I would binge once I screwed up and ate a piece of pizza or a donut. Now I know better and can have those items daily as long as they fit my calorie goals. Also, like you I was lighter last year when I did a lot of cardio yet looked worse. Now that resistance training is a top priority with light cardio just being a bonus, I have made much better progress. Keep up the great work!

Thank you! I had 2 donuts for dinner tonight, still kept my calories within my rdi. I’m praying to not die tonight. Before it was low calorie keto with days/weeks off to binge and repeat. I’m glad to have found the advice from you and many others to focus on calorie control. I was able to get the most steady progress this way.

I really think having that flexibility is the best way to go. I think people believing that you have to have a perfect diet to make progress is the reason the success rate of diets is so terrible.

I saw a pic of a friend recently. She was dieting hard changed her diet completely to vegan, lost 115 lbs went from morbidly obese to a healthy weight. Then slowly reverted back to her old ways. She is regaining most of her weight back. A diet that allows the most variety (that’s not harmful to the dieter) is the best. The dieter learns to control the amount while dieting so when they get to goal, they don’t change their diet (what they’re eating) but the number of calories to maintain. I’m keto/lchf and I do throw in some rare high carb days, but I keep the daily calorie averages in check. If I eat more some days I cut back some the next. There’s a lot of learning involved and until we hit a plateau or some kind of life event do we need to learn the next step of calorie control. I do hope more people read Deadpool’s post. He laid everything out so nicely and organized. If I had known I wouldn’t have wasted so much money and time on things that didn’t work.

I was Keith, but I also don't believe metabolic ward studies are funded by big sugar. I was still skeptical though since I was on the clean eating train for 10 years. Hence my junk food nummy experiment. Still, I was so much less stubborn than most it seems. I'm glad you weren't so hard-headed either. We have that in common plus our love for sweets. :P

Thanks, Chris! You keep posting and sharing your knowledge as well, even if it is sophomoric in some fields. Trust me, I never even get angry lol. I just love talking about this stuff. Sleep well, buddy!

😍WOW!!!!!!! That profile pic is awesome! (And the back pic). Very inspiring. Had no idea you were overweight. I know I say that to people on here (like Keilin) but I just can't get over how NOT fat you girls look. So fun to look at. Maybe I'll post a pic later of the fattest my face has ever been. It looks like I'm wearing a mask. I'll have to build up the courage for that one. LOL. Good job!!

Chris, I still blame you for enlightening me. I didn’t understand what the diet talks were about and after reading so much I find it hard to keep my mouth shut 🤐 when I see false info being spread.

d👸, I was OBESE. Inside all of us there is a lean person stuck inside a fat suit. We have to burn 🔥 that suit off to reveal the real us. You’re doing great! Super inspiration for women to lift weights to create that super attractive figure! Haha I’ll make a deal with you, whenever you’re ready to post chubby cheeks, I’ll repost “krang”.

Moopie it's nuts. And I plucked my eyebrows super thin trying tricks to make them ( my eyes) not look so squinty from fat. Both funny but really sad. 😢 I'll do it soon.

Not the eyebrows, we need all our eyebrows!!! 😂😂😂 I know what you mean, my face was so full that the fat from my cheeks pushed the bottom of my eyes up and the fat on the eyelids caused the top to droop making my Asian eyes even smaller. My eyes look bigger now that that fat is gone. Oh the non scale victories!
