Diddlee's Journal, 11 August 2019

Another fun day in the kitchen. This time five pounds of Thai fish cake. Vacuum sealed, and ready for meals during the week. I don't make these. Just help as best as I can. Egg is mixed in The seasoning is salt, pepper, garlic, shallot, chilli, lemon grass, finger root, turmeric, Fried in coconut oil, infused with basil leaves. These go down easy. A favourite right now. Not sure what fish is used. I asked, but didn't get a straight answer.

FullaBella You're right. It was closer to 7 pounds. Made extra this time. Can eat these like they were cookies on a starving day.

FullaBella That is it. They look like a cookie, and are not far from a sugar cookie in mouth feel. Doesn't have the sweetness, but the seasoning makes up for it. A wonderful break from that beef I did daily for so long.
