Lactose Theory
I believe Lactose is designed to create a hyperactive appetite in a fast growing calf.
I also believe this appetite stimulation effect works well in other creatures. Low fat milk was very popular for fattening up pork long time ago.
Cannot believe I forgot about these things after the road accident. I 'stole' my GF's Yoghurt. No wonder my appetite span out of control. Lesson learned.
