@CrashtestDawnie - Yes! I sooo need to deadlift and squat with all this glycogen in my muscles. Otherwise it-is-going-to-waste haha! Lifting when 'carbed up' really feels great. I can definitely lift 10%-20% more... the only problem is I cannot-lose-weight when doing so 😢. So when I have to 'cut weight' I must low carb/low protein (with me high protein turns to glucose). Yes I STILL need to hit the gym, but, it is not-nearly-as-much-fun-to-lift 😢

That is a bummer 😕 but do you really need to lose? I’m still over weight and have a lot of stomach fat. I’m at the point where even though I should try to lose weight, I don’t actually need to. So I’m just kinda going with the flow 🤷♀️

@CrashtestDawnie - It is good to 'take a break' and 'make a change' so you are doing exactly what you *should* be doing 👍🏾. For me, *after* I took time to 'do my thing', I have now decided that I don't need to 'get bigger. I went a long time just 'getting stronger'. I can now deadlift and squat 275 (even fasted). Then I got to a point where I looked in the mirror and realized it would take a lot more carbing up to lift heavier. 'Carbing up' makes me fat. Yes there are people who can pull that off, but, as a guy who has spent their ENTIRE adult life OBESE I would have to be a F'ing idiot to ignore my numbers Haha! - - So being 'lean' is most important to me now.
