This is gonna be a quick hit and run. So, this morning evidenced a slight gain, presumably because of the lingering TOM or also because of last night's late snack. I did fine at the party and stayed away from everything, and came home at a decent enough hour (1 am or so), but was wide awake and peckish, so had an assorted snack( 1 ricecake, 3-4 salted peanuts, and 1/2 a bowl of edamame sprinkled with salt). I thought it would miraculously re-adjust on the scale this morning---yeah, right! (Said sarcastically). So, yeah, about half a pound gained this morning---I'd say it's water retention and hope to see it gone by tomorrow.
Other than that, here's the breakdown of today's workout and food: Exercise: (Evening): 30 mins treadmill, with 4 run intervals, and 3.5-3.8 speed, ramped up to 4.6 on runs, at incline of 2(total 217k burned), and 30 mins stationery bike (138K).
Meals and Points: Brunch: smaller serving of cereal and milk (3) 1 string cheese (2) 1 rice cake (1)
Snack: grapes (1) coffee with cream (1.5) peanuts (1)
Post-workout: Protein mix and soy milk (3)
Dinner: Spinach salad with 1 tomato, olive oil (1), reduced fat feta crumbles (1), sauteed tofu (3) with sesame oil (1), lemongrass and ginger. And few pieces watermelon (1)
total: 19.5 Going out to watch a play tonight, and meeting friends beforehand for a drink and live music---so, 'course, I know the drill--diet coke, it is! Will especially have to watch out for the after-play cravings for a drink and bar food!! With an high-dose of protein from my dinner, I think I should be good for several hours.
