Any ideas on the best mct oil?

I've only tried one: natures way. I can't say if it's the best. It was early on when converting to keto and I got swept up in the whole 'gotta have this, gotta have that' honeymoon.

Haha, I know what you mean. I'm just trying to be my healthiest self.. And I think it may be worth looking into

Organic Valley coconut oil...until I read about monsoons and realized those coconuts and the oil is probably not 100% accurate. Suddenly vats of oil are everywhere. Meh. I think the benefits aren't worth the switch from butter for searing foods. I get a fair amount of fat from the cuts of meat or some cheese or eggs or yogurt. My brain hasn't been impacted yet. Well, maybe not yet.

In my opinion, the first question is whether or not MCT’s are necessary or important in any dietary plan. They are not essential, meaning that the body doesn’t suffer from a lack of them. Essential fatty acids are long chain, not medium chain, triglycerides. A lack of them causes problems. There is no nutritional reason to ingest MCT’s rather than naturally occurring fats .... unless there’s malabsorption. Soooo ... consider if MCT’s have any special advantages at all before wondering about which one to use. In my opinion, the conversation about probiotics is the same.
