Turning to food for comfort is a lot like an alcoholic drinking to take away the "pain" or solve a problem. My Mom always told me that drinking to solve problems "leaves you broke, feeling lousy, and doesn't solve anything." Good advice. You can always try to be proactive. If you think you might lose your job, then start looking for a new job. I know that it will be tough because you become attached to clients and the people you work with, but finding a new job might just be the motivator to keep you going and taking care of yourself. Just a thought.
