Living at home, as I am right now, can make it difficult for me to diet. The trick is to diet without my dad knowing because, anytime I put something in my mouth he'll be like "are you sure you want to eat that?" if he knows i'm dieting. The other thing is that my mom keeps a lot of snack food around for my younger sister when she comes home during the week so there is always tempting things around the house. It's much easier to diet when I live on my own. I stayed at slightly under 135 when I was living at my apartment, simply because I was buying my own food and keeping around only what I had planned for my meals, and didn't have someone cooking for me as well as trying to please 3 others. Anyway it was a lot easier. We have a tradition of Friday night Pizza at home, and though since my sister and I have been in college it hasn't been conducted as religiously every week, we had it tonight. It was bad timing as I had gone out for lunch, and though not gorged, Thai noodles are not low in points, and I caved and got Thai iced tea which I love, and normally can resist, but today was not a good day. My hope is that I can do better in the coming days, though it will be really hard tomorrow as my boyfriend is hosting a beer tasting party at his apartment. I am planning on trying to limit myself to 24oz and try to sip as much and not drink more than a couple ounce quantities in hopes that it will add up to less. I don't feel like I have recently been doing a very good job though.

I hear ya. I'm living in my parent's basement apartment right now and my dad and I share the fridge down there. He's 6ft tall and 120 lbs, trying to GAIN weight. I came home yesterday to a freezer full of ice cream, a week after I tossed all the junk food. Argh. Just try to stay focused and do what you know you need to do. Don't let them be an excuse to eat what you shouldn't and maybe try to influence them to eat healthier. Worth a try, right? Anyway, just focus. You can do this.
