Okay I had a crazy but fun weekend!!! Friday I went out w/ my law school friends. The restaurant looked like this shady litte dive but the food was so fantastic! I had their special lobster ravioli... I figured I was very good all day w/ my eating so I could splurge. It was topped w/ back fin crabmeat to boot! Yum. We all had a great time catching up WITHOUT the stress of school. I drank 2 glasses of wine- and stopped. I'm testing myself to see if I can reasonably drink or if it's just not possible for me.
My mother in law (to be) has this pic of all of us on the fridge from around last Xmas, from when I was my heaviest. Every time I see it I want to rip it up!!! Lol.
Yesterday Betty (sis in law on bedrest) was totally feeling cabin fever so she came w/ me in the car to "go do deals" which is what we call our nutty couponing. As soon as we got to Rite Aid she was like, I have to come in w/ you!!! So I was like, you need to take it easy. We walked very slowly in but she was just so excited... this was a nutty week at Rite Aid we both made about $50 in profit. Which probably doesn't seem like much but if you saw the boatload of stuff we got in addition to the money we MADE you'd probably be a little bit in awe.
Next she sent me to Shoprite for her (this one she stayed in the car for); I got 4 gallons of milk for free (two for each of us) and they paid me $2. Smart Balance is my absolute fave milk so I was pretty excited. And it's healthy!!! :) Good stuff.
This weekend we will be back in DC for this extravagant affair my bro has planned for his wife's 27th birthday. Now, even cheap-o me can see the fun in a big birthday celebration for like turning 30 or 40 years old, but 27? I don't get it. He's just over the top. He rented a limo, the whole nine yards. You know I wouldn't be doing that unless I had a coupon. ;) I found an awesome, farm-like "resort" for Lily and Howie to stay at while we are away. It's attached to a veterinary office which makes me feel better about Howie staying there.
I haven't weighed myself in a few days. I'll face the music tomorrow. I'm sure it won't be pretty. But I'm back on track today. Blueberries, clementine, banana, WW yourt for lunch. We got a bunch of organic foods yesterday because it was spend $25 get $5 off.
THREE THINGS I'M GRATEFUL FOR TODAY: 1) That I get along w/ my future in laws 2) That Salem paid off one of his credit cards completetly 3) That as I write this I only have 2 more hours of work. :)
Have a great rest of your Monday friends! Off to catch up on your journals. :)
