Well, I am back on track for now. Don't know how long it will last. Hopefully I can stay true to the diet for 5 more pounds. Question: Does anyone else get muscle cramps when first starting on Atkins? Every time I start back with the induction phase I get crazy leg cramps!! After about a week they stop, but boy do they hurt until then. Good luck to all!!
175.5 lb Lost so far: 24.5 lb.    Still to go: 15.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Yes, I get the crazy leg cramps. They come at night, mainly in my calves. They really hurt! I have to flex my foot to stretch and get rid of them :-(

It's from a lack of potassium. You may want to supplement while on induction.

Make sure you eat the 1/2 avocado per day as recommended (in the extras) for induction. 1/4 of an avocado has more potassium than a banana. Also, you can have pumpkin on induction. It also has potassium. Mix 1/4 cup pumpkin with 1 T heavy cream, a pinch of cinnamon and a packet or so of splenda. Nuke it and mix, it tastes like pumpkin pie. :)

Sara has a great point!! Last time I did induction, I MADE sure I had some food with potassium in it every day and I never had a leg cramp!!! It really works. And - make sure you are getting enough water, too. That really makes a difference.
