730 cal! Dinner tonight is Longanisa, riced cauliflower mixed with a bit of Garlic fried Jasmine rice and egg. Of course I need my glass of wine too ☺️. Day 2 of this new diet and I’m on track!

I'm getting ready to try cauliflower rice for the first time tonight! Yours looks great.

@Pixie722 I absolutely loathe cauliflower, but I have tried it. If you are having a stir fry with an assertive sauce (hoisin based, gochujang based, something with chinese black vinegar, etc.), it works fine and makes you think you are eating rice when you are not. If you are using it as a plain side dish, it just tastes like cauliflower. If you like it, great, but if you don't, it's no bueno.

@newgrl Just tried the cauliflower rice... I thought it was really good! The texture was def rice-like, and tasted perfect with my leftover tofu stir-fry and soy sauce (aminos). It was a messy job using the grater - cauliflower shreds everywhere! Gotta dredge up my ancient food processor with the grater attachment...

I love longganisa and I haven’t had any in years I need some like right now lol I have never tried caulirice yet but I do eat a lot of rice right now I’m eating a lot of red rice and it make me feel full faster with white rice I go crazy and before I know it I had 2-3 cups already compare to a cup of red rice

@Pixie722 Great to hear! Glad you liked it. You're right, the texture is perfect. You will for sure need your food processor or a small chopper of some sort to make it. :)

Sorry you guys! Was offline all of yesterday! @Pixie722 that’s awesome! Welcome to the riced cauliflower fan club! I highly reccommed steaming the riced cauli in the microwave for a quick side. In a bowl, just sprinkle salt and pepper, some coconut oil and some plastic wrap on the top :-) @Wright2018 I’m going as Captain Marvel this year! I have been Dark Phoenix and Seven of Nine (Star Trek) before :-)
