So just got back from the gym.....didn't have the heart to weight yet....I am so nervous. I really want to know where I am at, but I also don't want to be disappointed! Today is my last day of Phase I so I think when I get home tonight I will weight in. I feel great and have been great on Phase I, have not cheated, but would have really liked too. I just keep pushing myself and I am very proud of where I have come, but can't seem to be able to get myself on the scale. I guess with all the success stories I will be very surprised if I don't loose something, but at the same time nothing has ever helped before! I know I need to just suck it up and find out, just need a little time I guess.

If you're following phase 1, you should have lost something. Nonetheless, you have to not obsess with numbers on the scale. Let's say you only drop a few pounds, the way you've been eating has made your body healthier. Your cholesterol may be down and other things that aren't visible from a scale. This diet is about changing your whole lifestyle, so yes, you will lose weight, but to keep the weight off you can't fall back into bad eating habits. My slip up every once in awhile is pizza. I just love it. So, don't feel bad if you screw up. This is going to be a challenge. I'm just trying to give you a realistic view. I wish you the best. You can do this!!

be careful weighing in at night- weight in in themorning right after you go to the bathroom before you do anything else. You will be fine!

newmommy is so right - don't obsess about the scale. You're doing something healthy for your body, and even if there's not a loss, your bod is healthier now than it was 10 days ago. And it will continue to get better the longer you go! And the longer you go, slowly but surely your weight will drop! I imagine that you've lost something - especially if you've followed the diet 100%. We're all pulling for you!

I agree with them dont get hung up on the scale. I think you have tons of willpower and its nice to see you all work togather. So is it any big deal if you dont get on the scale ? Wait and do it when you feel ready instead of when you think you should. keep your chin up and remember you are not alone.

Thanks for the words of encouragement! I read your journals and I'm very proud of you for making it to Day(!!! WOW!! yOU ARE LUCKY ITS OVER..LOL I'm pretty sure when you weigh in you will be happy with what you see and if you did not lose alot don't get discouraged because remember there are 3 more phases to go. The reason I started this diet is because my Brother lost 70 pounds in 3 months on the fatsmash diet. Sounds crazy but he really did, he looks GREAT!!! I know this can work if we just stick to it.. Talk to you soon.
