Today, things were great and right on track.
Weight this morning: 160.8 (couldn't believe it, so checked again, and each time the numbers varied from 160.2 to 162.8..). Even the gym-scales showed a loss, so this is a real loss. I'll wait to record it here tomorrow. So close to 160--and right on schedule-- as my plan was to drop to 160 by the end of May!
So the scales are cooperating. Even pictures seem to confirm the progess (took pics of myself yesterday and noticed my body has toned up nicely all over, especially the legs). And old clothes are finally fitting! Thus, all this is finally adding up to make me a believer! I can actually see light at the end of the tunnel and that's the best motivation to keep going!!!
Work out: Stationary bike 15-20 mins, Elliptical 30 mins (half the calories burned than usual, but I was feeling a little tired). Did couple of sets of lateral raises & biceps. I also went and did 60 mins of walking outdoors in the evening.
Water: about 2 liters so far, will get another liter or so before bedtime.
Meals: Lots of veggies and greens, proteins, and a VERY satisfying dinner tonight (make spinach pasta with pesto, portabello, goat cheese, garlic, and walnuts--was out of pine nuts). Also, had salads with both meals (evening salad was my favorite of spinach, mandarin orange pieces and juice, and dash of olive oil).
Work was ok, could have been better, and I need to get one more thing done tonight which would round it up to a productive work-day.
Meals & points: Brunch after working out: Protein mix with fat free soy milk (3), small piece of halopeno cheese (1). Large salad of greens, spinach, celery, carrot, croutons. in a yummy homemade dressing (olive oil, dijon mustard, and fresh lemon juice) (2 pts) Eggwhite omelette with 3 eggs, spinach, mushrooms, black olives, parsley, reduced fat feta, garlic, and green peas (3 pts)
Snacks: 1 orange (1) 1 tbsp reduced fat peanut butter with 1 celery (2) 1 ricecake (1)
Dinner: Spinach nest pasta (1 tsp olive oil, portabello, garlic, pesto, goat cheese, walnut pieces): 7.5 pts Spinach salad with orange pieces and orange juice (0.5) and oil (0.5)
Total pts: about 22
