Weekend was busy…but fun! Saturday I woke up, had acupuncture (to help with the fertility stuff)…ran to the grocery store, then to have a MUCH needed hair appointment (I'm a procrastinator when it comes to getting my hair done). Of course it had to be prom day for the high schools in my area, so I was surrounded by all these teenie tiny little bodies with their cute up-do's, as they are eating their dunkin donuts and candy bars. I was good though…I just envisioned myself as if my body was that tiny (which will never happen, because I'm not a teenager!), and kept telling myself that my 100 calorie pack snack that I brought with me in case there were any temptations was just as good as what they were eating. And you know what…I know that in the end that the results will be as sweet as what they were eating. =)

Saturday night we were off to dinner with friends at the Japanese Steakhouse (I was good in my choices!) and to a karaoke fundraiser for my old volleyball team that night (no, I didn't grab the microphone…BUT…I have some very talented friends!...I'm more of a shower singer - hahah). I only had one drink all night (a Capecodder…probably could have made a better choice, but not too bad overall).

Sunday was absolutely beautiful! The weather was in the 70's. My husband and I woke up and made breakfast burritos (All Whites, 3/4 of a Joseph's Lavash Bread, 1 piece of 2% Kraft American, diced mushrooms, Italian peppers and onion…and of course I had ketchup on mine - I think that should have its own food grouping! Haha It was soooo good and filling, and only 5 points!). Then we packed a backpack full of water, apple, oranges, fiber one bars, and made our way to Lynn Woods, which is a great place to go on short hikes, and getting some exercise. We hiked for almost 2 hours, legs were definitely feeling it! Went home, did laundry and made some Indian food for dinner (yum!).

I weighted in with a 1.2 pound weight loss this week…and I'm very happy with it! I am .7 shy of hitting my 10% goal! =) Wooo hooo! I'm hit 20 pounds lost!

Congrats Cheeks! Sounds like a great weekend and so much happiness! The weight loss is a 'side' effect of that, so keep it up!
