So far so good. I have a word of caution, only because it happened to me earlier in my diet. Don't let your calorie intake fall below 1200 calories. That's too few calories - your metabolism runs the risk of going into survival mode and stalling out. It should stay between 1200-1500 calories (your RDI). It seems contrary that you have to eat more to lose, but there it is... and you can eat chocolate - just not a lot (like 1 oz. at a time). So when your intake falls below 1200 calories, by all means, have a little chocolate to bring it back up to a manageable level. Also try and incorporate a little more protein in your diet. A diet should be something you can live with, not suffer through.

I'm trying to keep my RDI where it should be it's hard. Actually haven't eaten so much in my life.. haha And as for chocolate it's better for me not to even attempt that yet I don't think I'd have the self control to stop at 1oz... This is my true honesty speaking. From past experience I learned that One piece of chocolate leads to 10 or even more. I'm not sure I"m ready to run that risk JUST YET. Maybe in time. But I'm a self sabotager and there is nothing in this world that could stop me from going from one piece of candy to a whole week of binging. Phew it really does feel great to actually put it out there. :D

Well, if chocolate is a trigger food for you, then you'd better avoid it. Maybe you could up the count with more protein foods like nonfat cottage cheese or a boiled egg or something like that.

Eggs I can do Might even stick em in with my salads which I must say I'm beginning to really enjoy. Even passed up potatoes the other night to eat a salad instead :D

I feel you on the one oz of chocolate. I Am an all or nothing kind of girl. Changing my eating habits would be fantastic if I could just stop eating cold turkey, but that is not how it works... :)
