Today wasn't as bad, but still could have been better. I didn't make it downstairs to the hotel breakfast in time, so instead of my 'planned' fruit and oatmeal, I swung through mickey d's and had hash browns and sausage biscuit-- 12 points! Didn't do too bad for lunch, but I am waiting for a colleague of mine who recently left our company to call me and possibly go out for dinner-- don't know where, yet, but I will make sure my first course is a nice big salad (if we go..)

I remembered again today why I don't like this area-- it took me almost two hours to get about 20 miles!! Traffic sucks, plus it was very warm today and all sorts of fires started, so fire trucks all over. Had to cross the San Mateo bridge, which I think is about 8 miles long, and part way over, there was an accident-- looked like a car hit the brick barrier-- but that sucks when you're stuck on a bridge with nowhere to go!

I've noticed a number of posts in the last few days talking about DQ-- we all need to get it out of our systems RIGHT NOW before the nice weather really sets in! NO MORE DQ!!! I bought some of the new WW chocolate chip cookies to try-- they are actually pretty good, nice and soft the way I like them.

Gotta find out about dinner-- if we don't get together, I have to figure something out for myself! See ya'! Oh yeah, I almost forgot-- I am so proud of myself-- I got up this morning and did my Tae-bo Rockin' Abs workout!! So I'm feeling pretty good!

Well, good job on doin' alright for lunch! lol Maybe next time, go for the scrambled eggs at Mickey Dee's in a pinch?? A slice of ham with it? Think the protein may be better on points... not sure.. can't remember, though. Sux about traffic...eww! Good luck with dinner, I'm sure it'll be better with someone, otherwise, get something satisfying and have some tea w/honey as a treat tonight. :) xoxo

It is really tough to stay on track when you have to travel for business or travel for anything as far as that goes. Just do the best you can. Hang in there!

An Egg McMuffin is two points less than a Sausage McMuffin (7 vs. 9) and it's more filling, too! I hope your dinner works out for you. Travel eating can be so frustrating. I haven't indulged in DQ for a long time. But there is a local ice cream shop here called Wild Willy's that I want to visit when my friend is here visiting in June. They make their own ice cream and they have fabulous flavors. Mmmmmm. Ya gotta have a treat once in a while (good thing it's out of the way and a bit of a drive!). Way to go getting the Tae Bo workout in. A day with exercise always seems a little brighter.

YUM! My staple use to be to get a Sausage, Egg and Cheese McMuffin the morning of a volleyball tournament. I can still taste it with the meer mention of it! BUT...Once again...you counted it, and didn't throw your hands up and give up for the day! nice job!!! I also have to give you kudoos for exercising! Personally for me, I think thats actually harder to do when you're in a hotel, than trying to eat healthy! Keep on truck'in FS buddy! =)
