You counted 1 cup of butter for dinner. Did you have one cup of butter? :)

And it says yesterday you had a 1 lb (550 oz) steak. You might want to double-check that you are entering in the right portion sizes into the tool. Some of the selections have large default sizes, so that might be your problem. Not what your eating, but how you are tracking. Hope this helps. It'll get easier, I promise!

Hey don't worry as I am feeling the same way in the book it states that a person (eg on a 1900 calorie diet with loose some weight , and a person that is on a 2600 calorie intake will loose more, that's what it says in the book.). I have been on the atkins for about two months and I have been watching my calorie intake yes losing weight but then I really started to slow down in weight loss. So I re-read the book in the section about ketosis/calories and it has almost been 1 week where I am not worrying about my calorie intake BUT watching my net carbs (12-15 net carbs a day from vegies) and protien. and I am starting to lose weight quicker again. I hope this helps you, glad to help out any time.

Completely understand! It took me a couple of days of racking my brain over recipes and special foods. Then I figured out that I can eat normal but just replace sugar and bread with veggies. Adding in foods gets tricky since the portions aren't standard. I hope you didnt have a cup of butter!! If you go the atkins website you can order a starter kit for free. It has a few samples and also a little black book of carbs. Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it and start losing the lbs!
