Here's to another good day that I stayed within my 20g of carbs goal. I hope I'm doing it right my calories are over 1700.

I eat 5 eggs a day

4-5 cups of iceberg lettuce

12 oz of different meats

4-5 oz of cheese

.5 cup cucumbers

Can anyone tell me if this is okay for induction phase.

I would mix up your veggies more. Iceberg lettuce has very little nutrients and all that meat and cheese can cause severe constipation. Make your veggies nutrient dense with plenty of fiber. Drink your water too. I would also take a mutltivitamin. If you are not sure about induction, get the book out of the library. So much better to be proactive and look up the information you need. You can never be sure if the information strangers give you is 100% correct. Good luck!

You could add green peppers and celery to your salads to reach your 15 net carbs of veggies....your cucumbers are a good choice too. Make sure you have the fat too....i.e., fry eggs in coconut oil or butter. Typically on Atkins you don't have to worry too much about calories--more about fat, protein, and veggies. I think you've made great choices so far...plus the walking....really good!
