It is a RAINY BLAH DAY!! :( I want to get out and walk. I took Kaelyn out this morning to try and get a little outdoor time before the storm, and we we out there for all of 10 minutes before it hit. It rained yesterday too. POOP.
Tommorrow is suppossed to be sunny though. It's just nice to get an outside walk in, it makes me much happier and less stressed it seems! I have being cooped up in the house. I did a 3 mile advanced walking workout this morning, so that's one sweat session out of the way! My thighs and booty are still sore from my workouts yesterday.
I really want to keep my calorie burn in the 2000's at least 5 days a week, that is my new goal. It is harder on days like today.
I just need to fit in more intense workouts, beacuse they burn more calories for the time it takes. Looks like I'm going to be doing a Wiggles dance workout today..or a Yo Gabba Gabba one. Anyone seen that kid's show on Nick Jr.? I thought it was weird when I first saw it, but I don't mind it anymore, it's pretty funny.
Kaelyn knows all the songs, LOL!!
Before I had kids i used to say i would never let my kids watch Barney because it was so moronic, but I don't even mind that anymore!! At least it teaches them good things.
Scary the things you get used to after becoming a mom, LOL!
The one show I will not tolerate is Teletubbies. OMG.
Talk about brain dead. They don't even speak in Earth language.
Well, about resetting my goal, I think I will wait another day or so.
Once i hit 118-ish I will reset to 115. I don't know why I'm waiting. I just like seeing it below the line I guess! LOL!
I can't wait to get back into those jeans...OMG I am so close!! Can't get too impatient tho, there's no rush. I still have time to tone up and lose some more jiggle before the swimsuits come out, and OF COURSE before my family reunion in August.
It is important to me to make a good impression at the reunion as no one in my extended family has seen me in 8 years!
I was 155 pounds the last time anyone saw me too!
It's vain, I admit, but I want to strut my stuff in my skinny jeans at that reunion so much! :)
i was 115 when I bought them, so that is my goal. I need to build more muscle and tone up my stomach and thighs also.

oh, psh!! WE ALL STRUT our stuff in front of people we haven't seen in ages...I do at least! hehe... no worries, thats one of the FUN atributes of losing weight! Sorry its so rainy today... I like rainy weather because it reminds me of winter time! BUT...you do make a valid point...staying indoors leads to FOOD! Your doing great on ur diet!! Keep it up!!! hehe =)

We got outside again for about 40 minutes, I got a 2.6 walk in, around the yard with my pedometer before it started raining again, this time with wind and thunder. Scattered showers is right! It feels so good out I just can't stay in!! I took a towel out there and wiped off her swingset and slide so she could play on it without getting wet, but lo and behold, she would rather sit in a puddle. OF course. OMG and GUESS WHAT was reclining on her swing?? A snake!! It scared me for a second, but it was just a harmless grass snake, a pretty long green one. I like grass snakes, I used to have one for a pet named Precious! I wanted to keep it, it was so pretty, but there are MANY poisonous snakes in Texas and I didn't want Kaelyn to think it was ok to mess with snakes so I put her in the house for a minute while I put him back in the tall grass. Well it's pretty well storming now, I doubt we will have any more adventures outdoors..but this is Texas. If you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes! :)

It is amazing the difference the weather can make to your mood. I hate the rain too, shame for me living in the rain-fed green and pleasant land that is England! I don't blame you at all wanting to strut your stuff - you've earned it!! We're going to a family reunion in September, and I can't wait - I was 210lbs last time some of them saw me! Hope your weather cheers up soon!! :)

i lol too much!!! LOL anyway you WILL be in those jeans!! i don't know gabba gabba... i will have my daughter show me.. i am so bad now!! when they turn 5 i guess she watches tv alone now... or i am running after the 1 year old!

Hi Lotus, congratulations on reaching your goal, Excellent! :-) I reset my goal almost immediately after I reached mine but later felt it was a mistake. I think I might have done better (and enjoyed things a little more) if I had left it where it was for a while. I would let a little time pass, enjoy the visual of seeing yourself under it, and when you start approaching 115 (slowly) then, maybe reset it. But, of course, that is entirely up to you. :-) Keep up the good work!
