This is stupid. I have to make myself work out. No work out yesterday to speak of, very little the day before. Only one good workout in nearly two weeks - ate a shit-ton of food yesterday for some reason and it didn't even seem like it. Well, about 1800 calories, but can't lose an ounce that way. So...today is a new day and I'm going in there to work out and I'll do the Dr. Phil thing - fake it 'til you make it. I don't want to work out, don't feel like working out, but damnit, I have to make myself work out until I get back into that place where I only felt good when I'd worked out. Off I go...

...okay, I did actually work out. Pretty good workout, considering. I did the cardio 1 & 2, and then did the power sculpt 1 & 3. Didn't burn a ton of calories, maybe 400? 450? I know I'm supposed to mix things up, but I like doing the other workout with the cardio ones - then I end up burning about 700 calories for the workout. Oh well.

So...I hurt my back. I mean, I woke up with it sore but knew I couldn't let it interfere with the working out. Since I haven't worked out consistently since leaving for CA. It hurt some yesterday. it hurt while working out but I did it anyway. Then got in the pool and let the jets hit my back for a while. Then took a muscle relaxer and ended up sleeping thru some of the evening. Think I'll put some aspercreme on it, take another muscle relaxer and go to bed. Maybe I'll wake up with it fine. I'm just starting to wonder what all the injuries are about?! First the shoulder, then the toe, now the back. And for months I managed to escape any injuries whatsoever!

I am so sorry that you hurt your back. I know what that is like! And I know what you mean about injuries. Seems like once I hurt myself, it just kind of snowballs! Then the next thing I know, I am a mass of injuries. Hope the back gets better. Take extra care of yourself!
