I have decided to buy a crock pot.


Imagine if that's all I had to say? The biggest news I've had all day? That a crock pot purchase would be in my future. The worse thing is that I feel a mini spree at Bed, Bath, and Beyond coming on. Which isn't neccessarily a bad thing, but our kitchen is very small, which makes our ideas limited, but I like the idea of making something and just letting it sit for hours and hours.

I am going to stop weighing myself. It makes me too edgy. I don't like it. I feel like it's discouraging when I do everything right and then I don't see a different in the scale. It's just a number, right? I'm implementing a 10 day scale ban in my life. That means that I will not post a weigh in until July 9th. I will ignore the little red words that say "Weigh In Now!!" I will not be intimidated or taunted by it. I will stand firm.

I've started fiber. So hopefully that'll help my "problem." Anyway, I am so tired, and just can't keep my eyes open, so I'm going to try to make it until 6 and then sleep the night away.

Well good luck with your scale strike - See how it works for you, and if you like it, stick with it. As far as the crock pot, I have one, and used to use it all the time. Now its just in the basement collecting dust. Maybe one day I'll take it out again - makes wicked good veggies in there!

FIBER!!! Good idea!!! Bummer your body isn't letting loose yet!! LOL!!! I have NEVER sucessfully ignored those darn 'weigh in now' words!!! Good luck!!! I am finding weighing in once a week a little liberating ... but now I'm nervous about my weigh in. Oh well ... like you said it IS only a number. Have a good day!!

There is this awesome website, which for some reason my work blocks, called 365crockpot.com. Google it in case I wrote it slightly wrong. This chick has so many awesome recipes for the crockpot. :) I hope the fiber helps.

Good for you. Don't let those RED WORDS bully you into weighing in when you don't want to. LOL. Seriously, though. Good for you. You're doing what you need to do to keep yourself positive and sane. Bravo on the crockpot. I know I should use mine more so let me know if you get a good cookbook.
