BullyTrouble was talking about constantly going to the kitchen to eat and all I can say is that I am glad I am out of the house otherwise I would be doing the same thing. Normally boredom sends me skulking into the kitchen, but the last couple of days I have been really hungry and what normally fills me up and keeps me full is not working. I tell myself that I can't possibly be hungrey again and say, 'no' to the snack, but that just puts me in an off mood (poor husband). I may have to see if I can eat something other than salad for lunch, I might be getting bored with it. :/

try ff lunch meat or tuna...it has protein in it and say yes to the snacks...you might need two snacks in the am...but do what your body says to do...

Agreed... protein will stick with you longer and sustain the fuller feeling until you get to a snack or next meal. String cheese, tuna, TEA :), stuffed celery all are great snacks to help tide you over, but with the salad I would definitely add some chicken or lean meat of some type. Maybe even some cottage cheese?? I wished I could say my prob has been boredom, but those days were just weird, like cravings that were insatiable and unable to be kept at bay. Keeping a good snack on hand is key... I'm about to run out for an apt and errand, and am bringing my lil almonds or a fiber one bar with me!! lol OH, and yes... one day, if you have kids, you'll know... you don't get 2 minutes to rub together to even use the bathroom!! lol ;) Thanks for you kind word and encouragement. REST?? What is that?? :) lol

My doc told me if you're feeling hungry then youre either eating trigger foods or your calories are too low. I just looked at your cals and they are pretty danged low. People tell me mine are low all the time but yours are lower than mine even. Perhaps what veggies yuk says, add tuna, salmon. I'll grill salmon and take a few bites off it here and there for the next few days. Take some chugs of V8 here and there, snack on almonds? You're doing great. I would suggest adding a few HEALTHY protein calories to your day! Go get 'em!

psssst, on your bio ya forgot about missing marmite, tetley's tea and yorkshire puddings... (I worked in the UK for a few years *s*). God luck in all your struggles.. and BELIEVE.. it does work and honestly the cravings do go! (I used to do laps of my kitchen just in case something accidentally like fell into me mouth!) now I'm cured, I merely gaze from afar... but we're all getting there... keep on truckin'...

I can't begin to imagine not stalking food, it's good to know that there are some out there that have overcome it without a restraining order. Oh yeah, I have marmite in the cupboard, I love it, husband recoils at the smell. I am on my last box of british tea bags (time for a vist home) and I haven't quite got the knack of the pud's, not even when I do 'toad in the hole'.Mmmmmmm :)
