Wow, it's been forever!

Been doing good! Haven't really lost anything lately:-( But, I am running, running, running! It's going well. I am still having trouble w/ my calves hurting. I strech them, maybe not enough? I am fitting into jeans better. I'm happy w/ that. I actually don't really weigh myself that much, once a week MAYBE. I am thrilled that my clothes are fitting better though. And I put on a pair that use to be really tight and they now fit:-D It's the little things! I love looking down when I go to pull up my pants and see that my legs are thinner. I want to keep that up! lol.. I have been running about three times a week. I would love to weight train, but the time is really hard to find. Things w/ life are just busy right now. Lots of working and hubby's softball now...

Eating pretty good. You have good days and bad day:-) So, that's my little update! I don't feel very in-depth today I guess!

You're so right about it being the little things! I also love to run. It's my favorite exercise and I can drop pounds quick when I do it regularly. Yea, you really gotta stretch your legs out before hand and maybe try alternating running and walking to give them a little break. That's also supposed to be more effective, getting your heart rate up and slowing it down, then getting it up again. Keep up the good work!

It must feel great when you notice all the little differences :) I also get tight calves, I find that if I stretch them out a couple of times when I go for a walk/jog. Usually after Ive warmed up a bit, half way through and again with my stretches at the end. I find if you put the ball of your foot on the top of the curb/gutter and the heel at the bottom and lean into it, is the best way to really stretch it out. Also if you wear heels everyday you should stretch them out everyday, as it tightens ur calves. Hope that helps!

I used to get really tight calves until I went to a running club and got assessed for proper footwear. They made me walk and told me how I planted my feet. I start my step on the outside of my heel, then pronate through my arches. I tried on a couple pairs of runners they recommended (medium stability) and found a pair that made me feel like I was walking on air! I LOVE them! I've been running in them since October and haven't had any injury or pain with them since. I would definitely recommend getting an assessment done! It's free, and you reap amazing benefits!
