Just 1.5 miles walked with doggies and DH today, all of it in a light drizzle. Not a real problem but probably not the best considering I think I'm coming down with something. It's getting slightly worse as the hours go by....maybe a nap later will help to stop the progress.

Today, we received the fresh Florida citrus we ordered as part of a school fundraiser. DH and I knew it would be a bit of a "problem" with our WOE, but ordered it awhile back anyway. I sampled the tangelo this AM and wow....was it ever good!!!! I'm trying to eat up the melon I bought longer ago than I'll admit, so I can't have much more than a taste of the new citrus right now. The melon, combined with the tangelo section PLUS the blueberries in the Saturday pancakes....well....this is pushing my carb limit today! (Really good stuff, though!) Of course, the pancake mix and syrup also add to the total carb number too. This should be interesting.....LOL!!!

The rest of the day, I should be eating only protein and fat to help the balance, but, as luck would have it, this happens to be a day when we don't have a huge amount of already-cooked meat on hand. This doesn't usually happen to me. We're quickly thawing out ground beef and looking at our canned tuna and snack-type meats, so we'll get it all figured out.

Hope your not coming down with any thing...its not fun...OOOh love oranges and such..I bought some Cutes and tried 1/2 of one..so far so good it hasn't messed up my stomach..it was soooo delish..I haven't had much in the way of fruits or veggies but I will try a bite or two as I miss them soooo..your pancake breakfast sounds awesome...Take a nap so you will feel better...:O)

Thanks Bren, but I really have come down with something. The good news (crosses fingers...) is that I *think* I might be ever so slightly on the mend today (Sunday), so perhaps with a bit more rest, I can get by only feeling bad for a couple days rather than my more typical 10- to 14-day cycle for colds.
