I'm better this morning, though I have that run over by a steam-roller feeling. I'm sore from all the retching. The area over my gallbladder is very sore and tender.
Beef broth helped a lot. I managed 2 cups before falling asleep again and another first thing this morning. I also got down a little turkey deli meat. I have some SF jello setting up in the fridge.
I'm going to have my son go out and buy me some boneless, skinless chicken this morning. When my little rat terrier has an upset tummy, the vet puts him on boiled chicken and rice. I'll forgo the rice, but I will have some boiled chicken today. Very light on the spices. Probably just a little salt. Bland and low fat, that's what today will be for me.

It's so hard to be sick and diet. Maybe you could make a chicken soup - minus the noodles. Hope you get better soon.

Thanks, girls. I do feel much better this evening. That beef broth (with all the salt) really helps revive. I've taken in very easy today. So far, I only have about a quarter of my calories in me, but that's ok. Easy does it.
