biketolive's Journal, 14 March 2019

Yesterday, after that perfect Keto lunch, I was on an eating roll and stopped to pick up some grass fed beef on the way home. My first dinner was lean ground beef (not extra, more fat = better), with cheddar on lettuce, tomato and avocado, and sour cream (so more taco like), but I did put mustard on also... I enjoyed that so much I went back for more but this time made more of a bunless hamburger as I had the beef with the cheddar, the mustard and a chopped up dill pickle and more sour cream?! I overate, I was too excited about the yumminess and paid for it by being way overfull. The only good thing is when I was carb addicted and burning sugar I never felt full... It's a good feeling - I just need to SLOW DOWN... 2 dinners ugh!

Still a really good meal though and now you'll know better next time, too full is super uncomfortable.

Looks and sounds delicious! (Talk about food-oriented: Every time I see "Biketolive" I read it as "Biket Olive"!)

i had almost the same thing last night! Grass fed GB with mushrooms, fresh cut green onion cooked in grass fed butter on top of assorted spring greens. Just didn't do the cheese, I think that causes stalls for me. BUT also I went back for seconds! As you I also would over do the carbs & sugars and not feel full just yuck. With this meal I was good :-)

Good point about carbs and sugar...overeating was a constant , not just an occasional slip up.

not a big mustard fan, but looks good. I over did it last week once and went to bed feeling just stuffed, but awoke to the biggest overnight loss of weight on the scale the next day. mine was probably as fluke, but made me smile.

Our "I'm full" signals are pretty slow, wish I knew how to speed up
