Use a couple RDI calculators to get how many calories you should eat per day. The goal is to eat as much as possible and still lose weight. If you maintain the range weight at 2000 calories per day for 2 weeks, drop it 10-20% and do it again..if you eat more one day eat less the next day. It's simple and extremely complicated at the same time with water weight sleep etc.

I’m a big believer in logging my food. It’s what works for me. Be honest with yourself about how much you are eating. Try for 500-1000 calorie deficit every day to lose 1-2 pounds per week. And don’t beat yourself up if you make a bad choice, just start over at your next meal.

Good way to go is take your body weight x.75 or 1 and try to get that amount of protein everyday. It has the highest thermogenic effect and keeps you pretty full. Then split up the rest of your calories however you want..

Cheetos might be key

Cb1006 Thats a lot of protein for a morbidly obese person like me. (300)

You can also take your goal weight x those numbers.. Just a recommendation. Then you don't eat as much carbs and fat.. But it's all personal preference and what works for the individual.

Eat the food you love, and practice portion control, log every bite that go into your mouth, make sure to have a calorie deficit but not too big.

Keywords: Portion control (keyten 😍) Exactly what Cb said! (10-20% sounds great) Keywords: Logging food 👌🏼 Keywords: protein .7-1gram per GOAL weight (Cb 👍🏻) Emalee portion control of Cheetos is my key 👌🏼 Eating the foods u love and learning to control portion 🥰 Learning to eat smaller portions and nutritious foods (essential for one not to feel hungry) and learning to enjoy junk food in a portion control manner is important for lifetime adherence to our new lifetime diet 😍

You did excellent🙋and Rosio19 knows right where it's at. I've lost 10lbs with her advice. Do what feels right to you and keep in touch with your Dr before starting any strict diet plan. Also, don't look at it as a diet but rather a new way of life...the diet label suggests an end and this is only the beginning of the new healthy you🙋

My advice would be to take your time. A lot of people want a quick weight loss but slow and steady is the way to go. You don't have to cut out the foods you love just learn portion control and how to work them into your calories for the day. There is no need to feel deprived. I also would add in strength or resistance training. I wish I did when I started a while a go.
