Im back and feeling bummed to see that on my last weigh in I was under the 300 mark. And here I am back to 320. It's frustrating to see that even though I met one goal, it wasn't good enough to keep me on the path. Since I have been gone, I have yo-yo'd from 320 to 302lbs. Why do I give up on myself? I feel better as I get lighter. I can feel my clothes are getting lose. Yet, I just cave in and eat of my diet! I am getting too old for this game. I am so tired of thinking of which diet will be my last one? Which one will make me thin?

The only way to get thin is to forever change the way you eat and think of food. Food is fuel for the body period. No diet will make you think if your not there mentally. Start making small changes you can live with the rest of your life. Focus on lean proteins, lean dairy, fruits and veggies. Limit your processed foods (too much sodium). Drink water (flushes out sodium and keeps your body running well). Find ways to motivate yourself and get excited about the new you. Cooking light magazine has awesome recipes and they have a site online. Emilybites and skinnytaste.com are also great for recipes. They have Weight Watchers points but you don't need to do WW to use them. Write down all the reasons why you want to lose and post it where you can see it. Read fitness magazines for motivation. Make an inspiration board out of cork board and put recipes, quotes, pics...anything that will inspire you on it. Put your scale in front of fridge. Buy a pedometer and aim for 10,000 steps a day. Take a new exercise class. Try new things. You are the one with the power to make it happen. You can do this!!! Now get moving and good luck.
