Day 2 of a planned 3 days of ‘no solid food’ fasting Blood sugar 114 mg/dL
Without my no solid food fast I would have eaten a ton by now.
# It’s 🌧 raining again so no running. # I was sick so no 🏋🏾♀️ working out. # It is 🥶 cold (ok only 50 degrees but that is cold for someone actually born in Los Angeles)
Anyway, I tell myself “You can consume whatever you want, as long as its liquid”. In the past I would consume a McDonald’s Milkshake. But, today the most I will consume, when I am being ‘bad’ and want to ‘feel sorry for myself’, is a Protein shake in heavy cream.

@Keilin_4 - Thanks :) Yeah, I need to try not to gain more the say 2 pounds this weekend when I break the fast. If I can do that, even if I don't lose any more weight, I will have a "net loss" for the past 7 days :)

Awww still sick ((((hugs)))) rest up! It’s what your body needs. Drink some bone broth. That should help too

I have been treating myself to protein shakes that are half and half (1/4C 2% and 1/4C Heavy Cream) I'm sure it's part of why my calories are up but it seems to be helping with the carb cravings so...

@Nanofgoat, @katies71 - Mostly the shakes keep me from eating...because, otherwise I would get to a certain point in the day.. and I would want to eat... and then I would keep eating until I was 'full'... Yeah that's my problem Haha!
