Out of habit I weighed myself this morning. Remembered as I was staring down at the scale that I wasn't going to do that again till Tues. Kind of wishing I hadn't. Part of me is now thinking of just going back to sleep & doing the jogging later b/c I'm tired & I haven't quite figured out what's going on w/ me. All the way back up to 250 again. I don't really get bloated unless I over do it on dairy & for as long as I can remember, being as big as I've always been I couldn't tell if I was bloated or not when I use to get my periods. But my stomach for sure seems like it sticking out further than it has, which is weird. I couldn't stop looking at it yesterday & my workout clothes that fit my fine felt odd the last 2 days. I want to believe it's muscle, but w/o any weight training, would I really be gaining THAT much muscle from cardio alone?? Like my blood sugar, is my weight going up b/c I've let myself have carbs again?? Although they don't throw my body off anywhere near of much, does it even matter if I'm eating whole wheat pasta?? I prefer it b/c I don't pass out shortly after eating a serving. I swear it's only at this weight that I have THIS many problems. My stomach is growling & I'm hungry & I wish not eating was the answer, but it's not. Eff!! I guess it's breakfast & back to bed for me. My sleep has been crappier than usual & I don't know what's up w/ that either. Something's off, aside from my WHOLE life, and I NEED to figure it out.

Baffling! I'd be pretty frustrated if I were you too. Have you had your thyroid checked? Might be worth it just to rule it out.

Well that just sound really crummy.. I agree with k8yk maybe a trip to the dr is in order..

Since I was 9 I believe my mom has had my thyroid check somewhere around 10 or so times. My mom, her sister & my grandma (while she was alive) all had thyroid disease. So far, it hasn't been passes any further down the lines. My body just does NOT want to give it up. I've been at these same 5lbs since Dec!! I had 1 day where I did get down to 242, but was back to 246 the next day. There have been a few days that I'd get up to 252, then the next I'd be down to 247. If I had the money to get a new jug of protein shake, I'd seriously go on a protein shake diet just to get out of the 240s b/c I KNOW after that my body will cooperate. The last time I got through this same plateau it took a few months, but I wasn't exercising at all b/c of insane schedule. But of course now it seems like if I blink the wrong way my body grabs on tighter. I don't want to do anything drastic but it seems like it may be the only way to go.
