My goals this week are to

1) Concentrate on making sure my menu includes foods that have a combination of protein and carbs while still staying within the correct levels
(Note to Self: May want to stay away from Meijer Yogurt Parfaits for now unless able to pair with a protein. WAY high in carbs.)

2) Be sure to move as much as possible at work (i.e. do some organizing or shelf work at regular intervals) and accomplish some sort of housework every day. My hope is that this will become a habit that will make me far less sedentary.

If I was somehow able to lose over 3 pounds last week. My hope is that this week, paying attention to my levels and adding in more movement will continue that progress. I just have to keep in mind that more movement, especially if I do actual exercises, may result in slight weight gain due to muscles being used and toned that maybe hadn't before. This is NOT a reason to get discouraged!!

Edit to add Evening:

Well, I think I did okay with taking breaks from my work chair at regular intervals. I was pretty happy with my progress when I first got home, too. Rather than immediately sitting down in that "I just got home from work and want to relax before doing anything" way that leads to me not getting back up to do anything useful the rest of the night, I took out the 6 shopping bags of recycling to the bins in the shed and put away a load of laundry. Unfortunately, then it went downhill. I meant to have a cup of tea while reading a chapter of my book, then I was going to put in a load of laundry, put away another load and take some etsy pics. After a phone call with mom and one with Mikey, I did manage to read a chapter of my book with my tea, but I only then took some photos. No more laundry got done.

But hey, baby steps. At least I did get some laundry put away. That's one of the 3 baskets that have been sitting in the bedroom now empty! Tomorrow is another day!
