This is it - the true test: can I stay at the gym for more than 15 minutes? I've been out for too long and I actually feel weak. However, I'm super excited to get back into my routine.
The weights will drop and recovery's gonna suck for awhile but it's just like starting over... on the good side, I lost over 8lbs in the last week and I don't see much change while flexing, so minimal muscle loss.
Let's see how good my muscle memory is now.
I'm not even gonna post my workouts for a bit. I'm thinking about 3 weeks to build up to where I left off (which was already at a slight de-load) and that's fine.

Muscle is the ultimate ho— no loyalty, no memory, no forgiveness. We use to see body builders enter the hospital for whatever reason and 2-3 weeks later they looked like wimps.

I am slowly working back after my surgery - had to use 10 pound dumbbells yesterday on moves where I was using 40-45lb weights!

Chrisw77– I know. Just doesn’t seem fair does it especially after how hard everyone works to make those muscles.
