Today I did something I have literally never done before. I went through a drive through and got coffee and donuts for my husband and his fellow mechanics on my way to work. I didn't order me anything I just drank my meal shake. I didn't steal a donuts or a little bit of icing. I didn't even open the box before I surprised my husband with them. I have such a sugar addiction these are all things I have done in the past. And the thing is.....I didn't even have to remind myself or talk myself out of eating one. Even when I was offered. I don't know if some of you realize how hard something like that is for someone like me. I mean once I got past 400 lbs honestly anything edible was mine basically. My sugar addiction truly was a sickness. I even turned down cookies already. I know I can have one if I want but I rather enjoy chocolate tomorrow or ice cream this weekend. It sounds dumb but I am so proud of myself because I literally went through a drive through and didn't order anything or steal a bite! Why because stealing sugar and not telling anyone I cheated on my healthier life style truly only prolongs my progress it doesn't hurt anyone but me. And I refuse to keep disappointing myself any longer.

I'm proud of you. You have will power to say NO. I'm stuck on 203.4 all this week. I haven't lost anything this week no matter what I do. But not giving up. I got terrible hip pain, I pulled it when I fell in the tub twice now. Going to orthopedic next Wednesday to see what he can do?

and it doesn't sound dumb! i had a similar situation yesterday at work ...twice actually..but one time i opened the box and quickly closed it the second time i just walked by the box. (i work in a hospital and people are always bringing in donuts, cookies, cake and so on) It's a good feeling to stay on track, congrats!

Way to go! It took me awhile but I mastered the Dunkin Donuts Drive Thru with just getting a coffee drink for myself, and only buying Donuts or Bagels on the rare office related occasion.
