Prawn Malai Curry & Sherry Rice 🦐

Ik ben nog steeds aan het experimenteren met de Indiase keuken. Op zich vallen de calorieën me reuze mee. Een bord met rijst en curry komt op een totaal van 728 kcal‼️

Copy and paste voor de liefhebbers: I started to grind onions, tomatoes and green chilies into a fine paste and fried that in oil for a few minutes - then I added ginger paste and garlic paste, garam masala, cumin, coriander and harissa (as a substitute for chili paste) and baked that for awhile In the meantime I brought water to the boil for the Basmati rice and added a glass of sherry to it - on low heat I let that cook for 12 minutes while at the last 5 minutes I added a cup of green peas to it In the other pan I added a whole can of coconutmilk and a little salt and let that cook for awhile before adding the prawns - they are done very quickly so after a few minutes you can turn down the heat and add a little bit of cream to the dish The rice and peas could be drained by now and I finish both rice and the curry with freshly coriander leaves
