still in week two and i will not weigh for another 13 days. Can't wait actually. I really really love this way of eating. I'm finding I'm losing interest in food more and more and gaining interest in other things to take the place of all the eating I used to do. After eating anything I wanted for two weeks, I'm starting to think about food in a different way. I think if you can have anything you want and never deprive yourself, you lose your cravings and therefore don't think about food as much. Dont get me wrong, I still love the taste of food but I just don't want to eat as much. Today my daughter and I went to Red Lobster and got the coconut shrimp. We split a large order which is 12 large shrimp (six apiece) and a salad with regular dressing. I ate the salad and two of my shrimp and really felt like I was full. I ate it slowly and listened to my body. I was full for about four hours and then started feeling a little hungry. We went to Target and I looked for a snack there, but nothing looked good. I actually waited till I got home to eat a snack, which was thirty minutes later. I then ate a few chips and two chocolate covered grahm crackers. Not the best choice I know but usually I would have eaten the whole bag of chips and half of the bag of cookies. This is really amazing how it has changed my outlook on how I eat. The tools I was given to not emotionally eat are amazing. And when I'm stressed, just tap tap tap. Love it. I'm starting to crave the organic stuff i was eating on my last diet. Now that I'm over eating all the things that were always off limits to me, i can focus on eating healthier. I'm still struggling with the exercise part, but I'm movig more than I used to. I guess if I summed up this way of eating it would be learning how to eat like a thin person eats. They eat junk, but not to the excess overweight people do. I have the tools to do that now. Five pounds down and 53 lbs to go. If i lose five pounds every two weeks, that's ten pounds a month and thats five months and a few days. Sooo, hopefully by September I'll be at my goal. Wow! We'll see. This is the most hope I've ever had.
