katrinat's Journal, 15 April 2008

My friend, bullytrouble, tells me I need to post a journal entry, so here goes...

Had a long day. Seems like there is always so much to do and never really enough time! Here it is after 10 pm and still going. Actually, my husband just got home from an overnight job, so this is going to be a short entry.

I did pretty good today... tracked all my points, but could have done better about getting in my veggies and fruits, etc. Had what I thought was a decent snack, but when I put it into the points calculator, turned out it was 6 points! Should have figured out points first, not afterwards-- oh well- I'm still within my daily limit.

Okay, gotta spend some time with my husband. I'll try to post tomorrow!

Ha-ha!! Yes, after 10pm and here I am, checkin' on my friends, too! =D Glad to hear that you've tracked everything and stayed within your limit for the day, GREAT JOB!! Dang, 6 point snack?? lol I think that having at least 2 snacks a day are vital to keeping the metabolism running smooth. I try not to eat 2-3 hours before bed, and 4 if I can. Tea is a great thing to have in case you are still hungry, and shouldn't have "more". ;) Glad to see ya here!! OH... and was thinking... you can weigh in "online" for ww, can't you?? Maybe you can switch your meetings to the online, since you have access and are near a gym often and you could switch your weigh in day to something other than Mondays!! lol Many of us weigh on Friday or Saturdays, as we have a little contest/challenge going to help keep us motivated. Okay.. have a good night with hubby!! ~bully

Welcome, bully's friend! Way to go keeping the points in check for the day! I found it was easier for me to have pre-pointed snack ideas on hand so I could just grab something and not have to worry about the points. Journalling is a wonderful tool and a great way to "keep in touch" with your buddies. Have a wonderful day!

It's a friendly crowd of losers here--so come on and join in! It takes a week or two to sort out a new eating plan. Don't be rough on yourself, but look at it as a brand new adventure, not another old diet.
