Well I am down some more. I was 254.2 this morning but I recorded 255. I will record 254 when it actually goes below that mark. Gives me some wiggle room for water - etc. OMG classes start today. The college doesnt let you log into your classes online until the day they officially start - today. Well I logged in and I am going to have to do 2 lessons and quizzes a week! My first ones are due by tomorrow for Microeconomics and Wednesday for Biology! I have had my biology book for awhile and it is really interesting to me so I have already studied and taken notes for Chapter one. My economics class assignment is over the introduction and I have studied that too but man am I going to have to work hard and fast to keep up. Eeeek!

As far as weight loss goes I passed my weekend challenges.... Chuck-E-Cheese - No pizza for me and Birthday party for my 5 year old yesterday - No cake or Ice Cream for me! YAY!!! I am making sure I get my calories up around 1500 and I have been meeting & exceeding that lately. In the back of my mind I have this nagging worry that that will make me gain weight but I know it won't and that it is much better for weight loss than 900 calories a day.

Well time for a hectic, busy Monday. Happy Monday everyone!

Conratulations on the weight loss and passing all those tempting but fatting foods on the weekend, you are determined and will keep losing with that determination. Good luck with your classes :)

Great job Amanda - that is wonderful. Cake and ice cream would have had me in. Looks like you are doing a great job there and with the calories. Best of luck with the classes, I know they can be stressful.

Congratulations on your weight loss, Amanda!!! It's a tough struggle some days, don't I know it! But the feel-good I get the next day, after passing on the pizza and ice cream, gives me such a great feeling. I kind of stock those reserved "feel goods" for the fight ahead :-) Congrats!

ALRIGHT AMANDA!!!!! You are doing fantastic!!! Keep up the good work! I know haow hard it is to pass up all the goodies when everyone else is chowing down, and mmmm, mmmming. Sometimes I feel like Pavlov's dog, but I keep it un der control and to myself. Went to a graduation party yesterday and the only ATkins friendly food was cheese. I had one small piece, and then spotted the cake. I wanted a piece so badly, but walked away form all the pasta dishes, hot dogs, bread, crackers, fruit, potato salad, and various other forbidden foods, and after an hour and a half, politely excused us, and we went home and hubby made me a STEAK for dinner. It was so much better than that darned cake!!

The hardest part was cutting the cake and handing it out. I would have icing all over my fingers and naturally you want to lick it off and I would catch myself and go wash it off.
