I'm not gonna lie, I hated seeing this .8 gain! But if I learned anything from the Beachbody program, 2B Mindset, it's this - reflect and learn. So here I go.
Just as I wrote in yesterday's journal entry, I felt like I was on track for a "whoosh." However, I'm fairly confident I interrupted that trajectory last night at dinner. I ate two bowls of homemade soup late last night - not made by me, so I didn't know exactly what was in it - foul #1. As I was eating it, I could tell it had a high salt content, but I ate it anyway and had another bowl, adding smoked cheddar cheese to both bowls (my program advises against any colored cheeses) - so two more fouls. I tried to offset the damage by drinking a lot of water, but I don't think I drank enough nor did I want to because I knew I would be going to bed soon. Foul #4 - I ate too late. I know my body well enough that if I eat too late, I rarely progress.
On the bright side, by bodyfat percentage is slightly lower. When I compare it to Dec 28th, a day that I had the same water composition (bioelectrical impedance scales measure using an electrical pulse via the water in your body), I have reduced my bodyfat by .1% and increased my muscle mass by .1%. I'll take that.
So there you go. Reflect and learn.
