Note to self: Roll your ass out of bed at 7am so that you can enjoy the cool, nearly empty park!! A 6 mile walk followed by a 6 mile bike ride when it's 94 is torture you do NOT want to endure again!!

That being said, I lived! Somehow I shaved 5 mins off my walk . . . maybe perhaps it was the ground being so hot I could feel it through my shoes so I had to move just that much faster to be done w/ it. The ride was rough but I pushed through it.

As of right now my legs are sore but not too bad, I'm drenched in salty sweat so much to the point that my eyes are so dry my contacts feel like they might pop out! I can only imagine how low my sodium levels are at this point & I would be surprised if I make it through the rest of today or even the night w/o a massive cramp. Oh well, it was worth it!

Not it's time to try to encourage my friend into a trip to the pool b/c I'm dying to be submersed in WATER!!

I agree 100%. When it's warm outside, the earlier you can get moving, the better. Great job on such a productive, active day!

Seriously! I had been good about it, but I think exhaustion caught up to me b/c I just couldn't stay awake this morning when I first woke up. The extra 3.5 hrs of sleep helped. I guess my body needed that too. I'm glad to be pushing myself & it feels nice to not be sitting on my butt all day doing nothing, but I'll never do this afternoon workout again. I'll take a nap in the afternoon if I have to, but I for sure will be getting up w/ my alarm from now on!

Damn, you did good! I'm being a lazy punk at the moment the most exercise I get is walking back and forward from uni the library and my house. I'm one lazy girl atm. Have fun at the pool! It's -3 C where I live! I'd die for some warmth!

It's supposed to be 112 today. Methinks the outdoor exercise is over for me for the summer. It was 87 on my way into work at 7 am. Good times!

Oye! I'm not looking forward to getting into the triple digits here. The humidity makes it a million times worse! Give me dry heat anyday, I'm a desert baby! I think to keep up my workouts I'll have to start at 7am, possibly 6am later in the summer. That's not going to be fun at all. It'll probably throw my sleep schedule off big time!

Wow! Great job on that workout. I'm sure the U-shaped sweat stain on your shirt was massive. :)
