GORgeous day today. absolutely. had a bit of a lie in this morning, then off to the farmer's market. got some locally raised buffalo, asparagus, a beautiful walla walla onion and the boyfriend got a pint of strawberries that looked and smelled to DIE for. *sigh* summer is going to be hard. i *love* berries!
anyway, came home, put everything away and didn't so much hike as a nice long walk along the river today. spent a couple of hours walking in the sunshine - and EVERYONE was out, it was so fun!
marinated the buffalo in a chile sauce i made, and grilled it as kabobs, also tried a homemade aioli, which was good, but perhaps a tad too garlicky. but, i have to say, a lovely lovely day off!
time to wind down and get a good night's rest, i have a nice busy work day tomorrow!
