Laissez-faire

Wanted to wake up early and get to my huge list of to-do, and I did wake up--but then went right back to sleep! Woke up later, and got a little bit done..but not enough! Didn't go work out either. A friend called later and I met her up for dinner..I chose well at dinner (lentil soup and spinach salad and a low-fat dressing), but since yesterday morning I've gained 5.4 pounds!! Gotta really get back on the horse...I'm starting to feel all aspects of home, work, chores, and the weight-loss plan is slipping out of my control and going to shambles! Need to pick up the reins tomorrow..

1 veggie patty (2)

You weighed yourself AFTER dinner?! I guess people do that. Some peple weigh themselves throughout the day every time they are in the bathroom with the scale. That is one thing I do not do. I glanced at my scale last night, and briefly wondered what my weight might be, but I'd no sooner tread there than walk on hot coals - because I'm convinced that it is going to hurt. I honestly do not want to know. I like living with the illusion that my morning weigh in is my actual weight. I guess I just assume that it's all uphill from there all day long, but now you've piqued my curiosity...hmmm. I think your food choices look very good, as always :D

You definitely can't count an after dinner weigh in as anything indicative of your progress. I am sure your morning weight will be back to normal. And if not, it will be from water retention. I'm still working some of that off from my Saturday night dinner out. You'll get your groove back. Just keep plugging away. You can do it!

Okay, why is it that we are doing the same things??? Just like you shouldn't weigh yourself at your TOM, you shouldn't weigh yourself after dinner!
