Made it through the first two days. I do not like starting Atkins-once I'm started though I'm fine. My biggest challenge is breakfast. I want breakfast fare-not always eggs and meat-any suggestions?

I'm on my third week and feeling great. The first week I got tired towards the end, make it through the weekend and your on your way. I bought the Atkins Shakes at Sam's Club, 1 carb 15 grams of protein and vit & minerals, it really has helped me stay on this, because I can't eat eggs and cheese every morning and not in the mood to cook that early.

I've been doing atkins for about 5 months so I know what you mean about breakfast! Eggs can get pretty boring and I'm not a great morning person..... But, for me, this is a bigger meal than the others because I need the energy to get the day going. So sometimes I just eat some of the dinner leftovers from the night before (e.g., chicken, hamburger, etc). It's not normal breakfast food, but it doesn't bother me - I just need to get something high-protein in my stomach so I can start my day!

Atkins Chocolate Chip 'granola' bars. Awesome break from eggs. My husband, grandkids and I went to Dunkin Donuts (my favorite coffee)--they got chocolate covered donuts, I ate my choc chip bar--it is fantastic with coffee. Enjoy!
