debzc's Journal, 02 April 2008

Yesterday was a friends birthday. Calories for the day = appoximately 1700 (I had 2 margarita's and 2 mini pasties and I don't know number of calories in those.) I expected worse! I worry about my self control when it comes to food.

Today was CASA training. Calories for the day = approximately 1700 (I didn't measure the salsa and forgot to count the number of Wheat Thins I ate, so I estimated.) I didn't get a chance to eat so I munched, but only a little.

Tomorrow is BUNKO! Lots of munchies and drinks! Oh no! Not to worry...the past 2 days have motivated me. I know 1700 calories isn't that great but it's not that bad either. If I could maintain this type of self control socially all the time; 1700 calories is acceptable.

And, I really want to do well for the weigh in! Self Control Gods, please be with me!

Have a great rest of the week everyone! GO ADVENTURER'S GO!!!

I think you showed fabulous self control! I feel success in weight loss doesn't happen by avoiding social situations but by learning to deal with them better than I did before. And by that definition, you are a success! Woohooo!

Now 1700 calories and your self-control sounds absolutely fine to me. I bet before the start of this journey it was probably worse eh... so you really are doing great at being more vigilant about what you are eating. So keep up the great work there and you will be absolutely fine. ;o)
