I’m just tired of being fat….period.
Last night, I suggested that we go out to eat and my wife asked me “what are you wanting”? My wife knows me and she was thinking that I wanted Chinese or something bad….and I said Subway. Then, I actually got a healthy sub and didn’t do bad.
What has been my reward for eating right and walking on breaks for the last two days…..6 lbs. lost!!! I know it’s all water weight and just the quick little weight loss you have when you make changes but it’s enough to get me motivated again. I’m only 2 lbs. from the lowest that I’ve been all year and I’m ready to do this….I’m just tired of being fat, there is no other way to say it. There wasn’t a certain moment where a sexy girl laughed at me or a buff guy called me fatty….I just realizes yesterday that I’m tired…and if I wasn’t fat, I wouldn’t be tired anymore.
I’m working on getting the eating down this week….changing what I eat and how much and working on making the right choices when we go out. Just because I’m trying to lose weight and get healthy doesn’t mean we have to stay in the house all the time and never go out. You can eat healthy ANYWHERE….yes, even McDonalds! You just have to do the research before hand.
A friend of mine left a comment on my last post and suggest that I start using SparkPeople.com. I tried SparkPeople back in 2005 when I lost 117 lbs. but I wasn’t too impressed with it…I found FatSecret.com but never really used it until now. FatSecret takes a while to get use to but then it has EVERYTHING you need to be successful.
I’m sure SparkPeople is great and I have an account there but it just seems like FatSecret is more for me, plus they have an awesome APP for my cell phone. It has a bar code scanner, so I can just scan what I eat and it adds it for me and I’ve never found anything not on there….even store name stuff!!
