So, this week has been crazy! I'm so glad it's finally Friday. I've been getting up early (5ish every day), So I can be at work by 6, and try to get some work done before I have too many patients calling. Since I've proven to myself that I can get up that early, I want to start working out before work. It's nice now that we live with Ryan's parents, because the gym is about five minutes away. In fact, I just got back from my workout. It seemed harder to get through the 90 minutes today, probably because I'm tired. I was sweating like crazy, and I'm thinking "why is it so hot in here, don't they know people are working out?!?" It wasn't until I was practically done with my workout that I realized I had TWO shirts on! I probably burned more calories in that workout than usual! LOL

Since Friday is date night, Ryan wants to go out for Indian food - Yummy! I'm going to google some diet friendly dishes, so I don't give in to temptation, and end up getting fish pokaras (my favorite). Sometimes eating out is like warfare on your diet, so I want to go out armed to the teeth! I'll also use the Golden Rules...and I have all of my flex points, but I was saving them for after the weigh in tomorrow morning.

I hope everyone has a wonderful evening!

The thing I love about having the internet is I can look online, check nutrional information at restaurants and pretty much decide what I will have for dinner before we go, if I know where we are dining. My top picks for eating out are Applebee's and Chili's because they both have diet-friendly entrees that taste good and have calorie counts on the menu. We ate out at Applebee's tonight and I had the chili-lime salad AND raspberry chocolate cake for 500 calories total! I was a happy camper. That cake was so good, didn't taste diet at all.

Restaurant Indian food is so not diet friendly! Even the most innocent-looking things have oils, fats, salt, and spices--and invariably you find yourself feeling too full and a little gross after the meal (Even with portion-control)....but hope that's not the case with your meal...don't feel too bad if the scale's not too friendly tomorrow--just know that it's temporary, and will restore itself in a day (forewarned is forearmed, as they say).
