The facts: Woke up just in time to dash to grab quick breakfast and dash to work, No, I didn't wake up at my pre-planned 6 am schedule--seems like since my gym-buddy isn't around, I don't REALLY feel compelled to keep my morning appointment with the gym! Did take lunch to go, but was kept pretty busy at work until 1.30 pm or so, which is when I stopped for lunch. Didn't have much time to go fill up my water bottle, so didn't drink enough water today. Snacks were healthy and somewhat timed well(fruits and a protein bar). Stayed back until 6.45 pm or so, so got home just in time for dinner. Made a quick dinner (heated pre-cooked lentil soup and made an indian chick pea curry). THought I'd go workout AFTER the dinner, but am feeling a little lazy now. Plus I already changed into my night-wear. hmmm...methinks them are some old excuses showin' up again!

ah well, tomorrow I want to have a good, well-planned, well-executed day. (Promise to my team-I will work out extra long tomorrow to make up for today).Amen to that.

Meals for the day:
Breakfast: go lean cereal and 1/2 cup skim milk (3)
snack: coffee with cream (1)
Lunch: yesterday's bean curd stir fry (4.5)
snacks: 3 oranges (3) and 1 protein bar (3)
Dinner:
3-4 peanuts and few walnuts (2)
1 cup lentil soup (1)
chick pea curry
contents: 1 can chick peas-4 pts; onions, lemon, and indian chick-pea spice, oil 2 pts),
2 slices whole wheat bread (2)

Total points: 25.5

Great eating! I think your menu planning is becomming automatic :D Everyone needs a rest day in their workout schedule - please don't be so hard on yourself. I think you had a good day.

With all of your dedication and hard work, you are entitled to a day off once in a while. You know not to make it a habit and I have faith in you that you won't. You have proven yourself to be a real trooper. You'll be back at it tomorrow. Enjoy your time off!

Today's another day, just start again and you'll do fine! You still did fine on the diet front, so no real harm done. GO TRAILBLAZERS!!!

You're doing so well with eating healthy - missing a work out here and there is not going to break you. I know what's like about the gym buddy, it's frustrating when you're depending on someone. My advise is this is for you so DO IT FOR YOU, even if it's by yourself. When that thought comes in that no one's waiting for you so you can miss today - push it away, get up and put on your work out clothes!
