Woke at 222.8, down 3.2 from yesterday. Final day of a 5-day water fast. Will eat in November! Drank a Venti Americano coffee and a quart of sparkling water today and that was it. Walked 3.8 miles today which will lead to a nice calorie burn. Went and voted when I got home (early voting). The place was packed! Forty deep out the door. I was very proud of my fellow citizens and the great volunteers who staffed the voting place. I got home and the great feeling continued with a 220.6 weigh in and a 3.4 mm blood ketone reading! Highest ever reading for me, but well expected after five solid days of water fasting. Tomorrow I'm having dinner at the fabulous Oceanaire Seafood Room in DC. That's how you break a fast!
