It'a simple: boring food equals no pain. It doesn't really have to be boring in terms of spices, but the variety of foods I may eat is limited. Try designing gourmet meals without cheese! No cheese, no cream, no pork, no chicken, no nuts, NO BACON! Basically, all I can eat are eggs, red meats, some fish, and greens, and I am tired of it. All spices seem to be OK, as well as garlic and ginger. Bulb onions are questionable, but green onions are OK.

Oh, I am just complaining. This time of year, food becomes the center of social activity, and I have to ignore what's offered or suffer. Wednesday, we're having a pizza party where I live, and I cannot have any. Wheat causes discharge and pain. Cheese causes a lot of discharge. Processed meats cause pain. Sugar causes extreme pain, and the Swiss Colony catalog came yesterday.

Maybe, I'll have some of the good coffee that my daughter's friend gave me. Bulletproof coffee causes no physical backlash, unless you count the caffeine that just keeps me awake.

Sorry for you, I get terrible IBS and really just stick to fish, veggies, fruit and oatmeal. The same foods day in day out. Im very lucky that I love them but going off track I bloat like a balloon and it is so painful

tortilla strips taste like bacon if you put them on top of spinach. Sorry about all those restrictions. I really hope it clears up the pain and discomfort.

Oh my, sorry to hear that, bullet proof coffee is really good, and it's a meal replacement, I know and understand your frustration not being able to eat certain foods especially when you're invited to places and we have to emphasize sometimes I have to do the same thing so I won't pain in my body, have a good rest of your day.

I guess it would be tough. Just trying to think of what kind of food for you to eat. can you do tuna salad. Eggs could be pickled eggs and they can last a week or deviled eggs. Good luck.

So sorry to hear about the restrictions you've been experiencing with IBS or any other intestinal issues. Are you familiar with a FB site called Wheat Belly? It is directed by Dr. William Davis, Cardiologist. He is currently providing help with IBS etc. There are great recipes and information that may be of help to you. There are side effects however, like weight loss, but you can modify your eating to stop that if needed :) Best.

Thanks for the suggestions. It's not IBS, and I cannot have fruit, corn, oatmeal, nor anything with carbohydrates in it. I can have nothing sweet, not even artificial sweeteners, because anything at all that can become glucose in the body causes the cancer to start stabbing me again. Even excess protein contributes to this problem. I know this. That's why this is just complaining. I choose to disdain all allopathic treatments, so I have to avoid pain-causing foods instead of taking the standard pain killers. The natural treatments work, but they are work. If I could live off of just Bulletproof Coffee, the cancer would die, but then, so would my pallet.
